A familiar brand, made spatial.
The language of a railway station, reinterpreted for everyday retail.
A railway-inspired supermarket and food hall in Ipoh.
A supermarket combines practical routines with moments of discovery. The design question is how to give those activities a shared identity without making the shopping experience difficult to understand.
Railway references, burnt-red accents and terrazzo-inspired finishes shape the interior. The theme connects a contemporary retail environment to the recognisable character of a station.
Within a retail brief, circulation, product visibility, lighting and maintenance need to develop alongside the concept. These are the practical considerations that allow a spatial story to work every day.
